Library

The school has a spacious library with a wide range of reference books. The school has a well-stocked library with more than 5000 books including the text-books, encyclopedias, reference material and literature. The library is continuously updated to expose the students to modern trends and concepts of education. Besides the books, the library also subscribes to journals and magazines. It is also equipped with latest editions of publication and handbooks on various subjects.

Laboratory

Tagore Public School has a possession of well equipped and well stocked laboratories and a library which are comparatively best in the state. All essential requirements and technical features are maintained in our laboratories to keep their standard high. Educational through experimentation is the best method to impart abstract learning and our laboratories are capable enough to meet any such task.

Computer Lab

In the age of IT and AI, computers have become a necessity. To cater this need, the school has fully air-conditioned and user friendly computer labs. These labs are well equipped with latest technology and a network binding them together. Internet facility with broadband connection paves the way for the students to become highly skilled resource persons and technocrats in the near future. The school has state-of-the-art Computer Labs. These are meant for students of primary, secondary and senior secondary levels. All the teachers are well trained to utilize these resources in an effective manner. They prepare their audio & visual aids and use them for making teaching effective. The students use the labs to develop their programming skill and to gain hands-on-experience in computer applications.

Sports

Sports are an integral part of the school curriculum and the school has provision for Basket Ball, Tennis, Football, Badminton, Cricket, Skating, Fencing, Handball, Kho-Kho, Volley-Ball and Yoga. Students are encouraged to choose and participate in at least one sport. Apart from physical fitness and recreation, this also provides valuable lessons of team spirit, sportsmanship, fair play, respect for others and discipline to the students.

Transportation

School has its own fleet of buses which play on the routes decided by the school. The routes and pickup points are displayed on the notice board of the school. Parents desirous of availing this facility indicate their willingness in the appropriate column in the admission form. It is the sole responsibility of a parent to escort their ward to and from the fixed bus stops. The bus facility is extended to the parents at their risk and responsibility. The child can be debarred from availing the facility, in case of indiscipline.
